Hey did you buy you PAC new? If so you have a lifetime Powertrain warranty. The shudder problem was to have you torque converter replaced. There have been sever TSB reflashes. There is no way I pay $ 1,000. to fix this especially because you have made an issue of this with then before, Right?

My 07 PAC AWD Touring has just a hair under 36,000 miles. In cold temps we gget 19 to 22mpg and in warmer temps we get 22 to 26 mpg. Not figuared by the computer but from fill up to fill up and dividing the miles by the gallons used. However the computer is generally pretty darn close with in a couple of tenths of a mile, which I consider real great. I have found using 87 octane and Conoco or Phillips 66 gets the better fuel mileage. The cheaper MFA or Caseys convience store gas gets me less mpg and does not seem to run as good, at least that;s how I see it. 89 octane made no difference at all, except to cost me more with no increase in mpg or noticable power.
I had the two motor mounts replaced a week ago, both were shot the dealer said. I have had the torque converter replaced and several reflashes. These are ninor problems, the PAC is a drean to drive or ride in, so very comfortable. and is the best vehicle we have ever owned. The AWD is flawless, and works well on ice and snow. We did put Toyo open Country tires on it and that adds to the good traction in snow and ice.
Have you had the dealer put the computer on to check it out. Could be some odd ball thing that is fouled up.

Hey farout.. it's me from the other site.. lol
yes, I agree the Pac is probably the most comfortable vehicle I have owned and with 3 kids and the DVD player it's a dream on trips.
I did say something to the dealer about the gas mileage the last time it was in there for the shudder\vibration and when I picked it up I noticed they didn't put it on the worksheet and now it's out of warranty..

I have an '07 Pac Touring. I bought it last yr as a dealer demo with 9K miles on it. Fortunately, I've not had one issue/problem with this car. It runs/drives great and I get better mileage than expected.
In everyday driving around San Diego, I average between 20-23 mpg. In freeway driving around 75-80 mph I average between 25-29 mpg. The strange thing is it seems to get better mileage the faster I drive. I've checked my mileage manually tank to tank and against the trip computer and the computer seems to be spot on.

Do you guys out west have that "oxiginated fuel"? They don't distribute that around here. If you do use it, I wonder if that could contribute to the better mpg. The pump will usually state if it is. Sunoco was the last station that I remember seeing it.
