What dos you Mporp valve value tell you ?

had ones a 2001 with metal parts in the filter and it turn out the electric pump in the fuel filter was faulty still running before start but was noisy.

The electric pump is after the fuel filter and if it fails you will get metal objects in HP pump and injectors.

The electric pump left some metal parts in the HP pump and a small part in the mprop valve , and the valve was stuck (Mprop valve is the one controling the diesel pressure)

 

2.5 & 2.8 HP pump is equal

where is the mprop valve , i have got a complete fuel filter housing from breakers going to change it next week

 

its ok i have it , i changed that a couple of weeks ago the one that bolts to the hp pump

 

Shaky : Mprop valve is mount on HP pump just below alternator small round thing with a conector. If you detach servo oil container it easy to get access . You can't see if it's working with out a OBD read out.

Did you get a reading or did you just change it ?

Lift pump is only running when you are starting when engine is running it stops !
