Hi I'm about to install a Parrot mki9200 and a small dash cam with no screen.
Could someone please tell me where I would attach a mute signal and also where the speaker wires return from the amp for the phone calls (I'm going to use the aux in on the dvd for music).

While I'm doing this the satnav voice comes out of the left speaker (I'm assuming for lhd) so unless anyone knows of a setting I can change, Im thinking of swapping left and right channels around.

I am also installing a dash cam which has a motion sensor and I want to leave running 24/7. I've purchased a battery guard from Maplin which will cut off the supply at my chosen voltage. I'm thinking of wiring this into the feed to the left hand accessory socket which is marked as being connected directly to the battery (obviously fused). This means the socket will also be protected.

Is there a place further back I could install this that in particular would allow me to have the radio, dvd and screen powered without the key in the ignition but to cut out before the battery is drained (whilst retaining auto off when they key is first removed).

I fitted a MKi9200 into our 2006 2.8 GV, and just bought the right SOT lead for the car from a local car audio place for about £10.

It just goes between the wiring loom and the radio using the existing plugs, and provides the necessary wiring interface for the parrot - it all works a treat.

Because ive got the factory amp the guy at halfords said the sot lead I needed was £49!
