Had the same on my Mercedes once: charging/battery problem
Batterytip: GLD335 battery (95AH 830EN)
With a little work it fits perfectlty, megapower! :P

Exactly the same mod I had to do with my new 95/830 battery.. Pretty simple action though.

Btw: Wasn't your old battery far too small? 62/600 sounds like it barely turns the engine over ..
