Default Cruise Control Servo Wiring

Here's my story summed up in as few words as possible.

I recently bought a 97 ford ranger. I want to put cruise control in it. A friend of mine recently had his chrysler destroyed while it was being worked on. He let me have the cruise control servo in it. Just for reference, it seems to be the same model that's in my girlfriends 94 dodge spirit.

I'm having trouble figureing out what the purpose is of each of the 4 wires going to it is. Here's what I know so far.

Black: seems to be ground
orange w/ red stripe: makes click sound and vents vacuum
green w/ red stripe: makes click sound
blue/purple w/ red stripe: makes click sound and has simply arced and welded the tip before

I realize that this servo probably needs a computer to control it. I also realize that this computer is probably integrated with the pcm and other stuff. However, I would like to at least confirm this. I'd also like to know what functions these wires control, if only for curiousitys sake.

Does anyone have a clue? Thanks in advance...
