Inorder to access the starter you need to take the vanity cover off the engine and basically take the whole front part of it off, its a pain in the ***. My car has 85k miles on it and has never had a new starter so im just gonna keep this one. I've also noticed it sounds alot 'stronger' when starting now so I don't mind having a new starter

"I suggest you try the least expensive things first"

That's ALWAYS the rule in auto repair. When you're not absolutely sure what the problem is, throwing expensive parts at the problem is not a good idea. You don't want to find out afterwards that tightening a loose screw was the solution, not a $500 part.
