Settings page. When touching Phone/Bluetooth nothing happens.

I have a 2013 300c JV with about 33k miles. Bluetooth and electronics have been working fine, but suddenly my phone will not connect any longer. In the phone settings, the msg states "hands-free device loading..." and seems to be stuck in a search loop. I have downloaded and updated the latest UConnect software, no change. I attempted 'soft reset' by holding volume and tune buttons down with engine off, in ACC, in Run, and with engine running, nothing happens. Phone connects to our other can without a problem so it must be a uconnect issue. Is there any way to remedy without taking to the dealer?

I'm having the same issue. Took my car to the dealer and they recommended I replace my telematic module, again. I have a 2013 chrysler 300 C and I replaced the module straight from mopar parts just in May 2021. That was 630 online and don't intend on spending that again at the dealer. They did a radio update and reset the module along with 3 other setting resets and nothing. The Bluetooth connects but it cuts in and out of anything i listen to.

I have a 2012 Chrysler with the same blue tooth Uconnect issues. The Uconnect works fine except the blue tooth mode - it stopped connecting and haven't been able to since. It's going to cost me over $1400.00 to fix when after reading the many comments regarding this issue I now believe it is a software issue. Have tried disconnecting battery but to no avail - don't know what else to do except replace the Uconnect unit for something less then the price sought to purchase new software. Any advice would be appreciated?

Contact UConnect for the correct 'soft reset' for your unit - not Youtube, Jimbob at work, Jiffylube, etc. "Hard Reset' may be in order - in the service (dealer) menu. An independent auto radio shop may be able to help instead of fooling around with a dealer when out of warranty.

Soft Reset for my 2020 300S, push button start, UConnect w/Nav, with the Panasonic head unit and 9 speaker Alpine system:

You are sitting behind the wheel, doors closed, everything is turned OFF.

1. UConnect unit is OFF, car completely shut down, everything turned OFF;

2. ACC On - one push;

3. Depress and hold the green button and VR button on the left side of the steering wheel for at least 30 seconds:

4. Release VR button and green button on the steering wheel and cycle the Start push button to OFF;

5. Open driver's door for a minimum of 30 seconds;

6. Close driver's door and start engine.

7. Soft Reset completed.

This procedure definitely works on my 300. Was performing the Soft Reset every few months in the beginning, but haven't had to do it in over a year after an 'over the air' update. Very happy with my unit. Still struggling with Apple Car Play - just going to have to take the time to learn it. First performed a Soft Reset when driving home from taking delivery of 300 in October of 2020 - around 1,000 miles. I flew in to the closest airport, dealer picked me up, signed the papers back at the dealer then drove home.
