It might, but the trick is how long that amperage is sustained the coil type battery cranks at a sustained level for a longer period - it is all to do with plate area - a bit like the Duracell Rabbit.

Yes that's the correct switch, the rotary one. Turn it all the way to the top until it clicks.

Hi yes the Battery is a varta lesiure battery with a cranking amperage of 760 amphr. Cost £180 !! It has made a good deal of differance on cold start ups.

I have another issue, that one of my power sliding doors will not open mechanically, it will unlock when buttons pushed but will not slide open.
Will open manually though.
Any thoughts ??

A relatively common problem with the doors are the wires that run just under the floor in the door opening protected by what looks like some sort of chain. These wires, or one of them can be damaged and the door not work. Equally the motor that drives the door may have failed. You may want to see what other posts there have been in the past remembering that it is the same as a Dodge Caravan or Chrysler Town and Country - there was once quite a detailed thread...

Default power doors

hi Sladey, thanks for info on the battery, the sliding door issue sounds like a broken wire on the loom to the door, I have read about this common fault on the forum before.

Hi, I have a 2004 crd manual grand voyager. I have gone through loads of gell batteries. I now have a lead acid one fitted and its way better. It was delivered by mistake from europarts. It is slightly too big by 3mm but it can be squeezed in. Plus its cheaper. Std battery £130. lead/acid £79
